St. Luke’s aims to offer a menu of activities on a Sunday morning which caters for all ages and all stages of Christian faith. You can attend any of these time slots on their own or choose to stay for some or all of them.

9am Traditional Morning Service
A Book of Common Prayer service with a ‘thought for the day’ in the back room.  This will usually include communion on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

10.30am Family Communion
Our regular Sunday service is quite informal and family friendly and includes a variety of song styles, both ancient and modern, prayer and communion every Sunday.  During the sermon the children can go to separate classes (under 7’s & over 7’s) for an activity specifically geared for them and everyone comes back together again for communion and we finish shortly after 11.30 with hot drinks and some time for socialising.

We hold some sort of evening service a couple of Sundays per month.

During August all our 10.30am services will be All Age and the children will stay in for the duration of the service.

27th August
Carpenter’s Arms
(every fourth Sunday of the month)
This is a drop in for homeless and vulnerably housed folk.  The church is open from 2pm for tea, coffee, board games, movies etc.  There is usually some entertainment and a talk with a hot meal provided at 3pm.
