SUNDAY MORNING FORMAT
St. Luke’s aims to offer a menu of activities on a Sunday morning which caters for all ages and all stages of Christian faith. You can attend any of these time slots on their own or choose to stay for some or all of them.
9am Traditional Morning Service
A Book of Common Prayer service with a ‘thought for the day’ in the Font room. This will usually include communion on the 3rd Sunday of the month.
10.30am Main Sunday Service
Our regular Sunday service is fully inclusive (we even welcome dogs!) quite informal and multigenerational. The worship style is relaxed and includes a variety of song styles, both ancient and modern, with prayer and communion every Sunday. During the sermon the children can go into the Font room for an activity specifically geared for them and we all come back together again for communion. The service finishes shortly after 11.30 with hot drinks and some time for socialising.
We hold some sort of evening service a couple of Sundays per month.
First Sunday of each month @ 7.30pm
On the first Sunday of each month there is an alternative worship event run by BEYOND. Go to www.beyondchurch.co.uk for specific details.
