Epiphany Sunday we spent some time hunting for stars around the church and thinking about what it means to seek God and follow him.
The Magi were transformed through their experience of seeking Jesus. Initially they assumed that the king would be born in a palace but they came to realise through their journey that God doesn’t need a palace and in fact identifies with the homeless and poor.
In the same way our understanding of where God lives is changed because he no longer resides in huge temples or churches, but lives in our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
We blessed the church with the Epiphany code 20*C+M+B*15 in chalk by the door but we also dedicated ourselves as we all wore badges over our hearts with this same code.
