ST LUKE’S PRESTONVILLE
St. Luke’s is a lively Anglican church just north of Brighton station near Seven Dials and Preston Circus.
We are very family friendly and our style on Sundays is informal and contemporary with a mix of words, music and video which is relevant to the culture of today.
We have a passion for putting God’s word into action through the things that we do and there’s a lot happening here every week in addition to the Sunday services. Most of all we aim to live out what we believe and are enthusiastic about the need to put our faith into action.
Here at St. Luke’s we want to be a place where people can explore what it means to have Christian faith in a society which is largely post-christian but for which community and spirituality is important. We aim to express our understanding of God creatively and with as much intelligence as we can while still resting on a foundation of 2000 years of writing and tradition which has shaped Christianity since Jesus walked the earth.
